1. We're so excited to have partnered with Common Pub and Belcrest Apartments to Bring Parasol back! We'll be enjoying this beautiful pool and views, through the generosity of a local business and private residence. They are cool enough to let us party, so let's respect the space! Anyone being destructive, disorderly, or otherwise unsafe will be asked to leave (w/o refund.) Also, keeping the space tidy for everyone's enjoyment helps- we'll have ample receptacles for cups, cans, and whatever else needs to get pitched. Thanks for lending a hand!
2. Parking! There is absolutely no free LOT parking near the pool. You'll see lots that are for area tenants and the museums, don't use them without paying. It's a $400 fine and whatever else, and we don't want to hear about it if your car gets towed. The good news is that street parking is free on Sunday. Even better option, it's going to be beautiful on Sunday, so ride your bike! Take a Lyft, or ride with a friend and share parking.
3. Above all, Parasol prioritizes the safety, comfort, and freedom of our community! Parasol is a positive and safe space for all people of all backgrounds. Bigotry, shaming, and other bogus behaviors are not welcome here. If you can't empower your fellow party people, this might not be the party for you. If at any point you feel unsafe, let someone know! A DJ, a bartender, or a nearby friendly face- we'll get it taken care of.
4. We have some fabulous photo a video people who will be capturing the day. By partying poolside with us you’re saying it’s chill for us to use photos, videos, or recordings of you from the event. All the photos will be posted after the event so you can save the moments! These people are pros they do a great job!
5. Everyone will be required to sign a standard liability waiver to enter the pool area.
